European Fintech

Case Study

A German Fintech expanding across Europe through acquisition. The UK business targeting significant growth and transitioning to a new operating model as part of a wider and larger Group

The challenge

The UK business was taken over by a German parent company resulting in a wider set of senior stakeholders and a growing move towards a matrix management set-up.

We were asked to help by coaching a member of the UK Exec team to help them grow their impact with a wider set of senior stakeholders as the business transitioned

What did we do?

Alyson had an initial chemistry and contracting session with the coachee, followed by a 3-way meeting with the coachee and her line manager to agree coaching objectives.

The coaching was then provided over six 90-minute coaching sessions with review session on completion.

What was the outcome?

After being initially cautious, the coachee became very open in how we worked together. She commented positively on the value she gained in the sessions and ability to apply directly into her work, and how much more confident she had become in how she worked with others, and the feedback she was getting as a result.
